Our confidence mostly comes from our own self-esteem. To possess high self-esteem, we need to feel good about ourselves. In order to get to this point in life, you need to start doing things that make you happy, focusing on the future, and creating direction and purpose in your life.
You can do this by planning short and long-term goals for yourself, and as a result, you’ll notice that your confidence will also rise. Find some time, sit down and write all your goals you would like to achieve. The key is to use present tense as if they are already happening. For example, instead of “I will be a successful writer and people will love to read my stories”, simply state “I AM a successful writer and people LOVE to read my stories.” If you don’t like to set goals, just create affirmations and say them out loud or in your head as often as possible. Or stick it somewhere you can see them.
This has worked for me now and it continues to work for me. I started accomplishing some of my short-term goals, and I felt far more achieved and have more self-respect. I ended up developing a greater sense of pride and my inner strength and self-worth improved.
It is very important to share only with friends who have a lot of confidence in you. Friends or family members sharing your ideas and having the compatible thinking as your own are much better to be around. Just select someone who will help you boost your confidence and ignore those who will put you down and will laugh at your ideas.
Truth is we are all born with enormous reservoirs of potential within us so, we can do and achieve almost anything we want to, as soon as we set the right mindset.
Here are some of my favorite affirmations, which helps me boot my confidence by Louise L. Hay.

I trust the Universe to help me see the good in everything and in everyone.
I love and approve of myself.
