Have you ever wondered who you really are? What your life purpose is? What are you really meant to do on this Earth, in this lifetime? Do you feel that there is more to you and what you can offer?
If you are still searching for these answers, then you have come to the right place. The journey of self-discovery requires a lot of groundwork and can be daunting at times, as it involves revisiting a lot of your past experiences, choices and emotions.
Please raise your hand if at least once you have been acting or thinking like the majority of people ( and you didn’t enjoy it at all). How did you feel? Were you angry at yourself? Well, most people feel fine when they act, speak or even think like they “should” be. They feel accepted by others and part of the big picture. Well if you are one of those people then you are like a sheep in the flock .
I do not aim to insult you or make you feel sad. If you feel angry that’s good, it means you are pretty smart and intelligent and I just caught your attention.
See, the biggest problem every person faces today is losing his/her individuality. Is laziness the reason of loosing ourselves in the cyber world? Is laziness the key of being part of the flock, walking around and following the “shepherd” who is supposed to be showing the right path? Are we lazy to create our own thoughts and conclusions?
Probably we must stop being on the safe side and start taking some risks.
Before we automatically agree with someone (a friend, a colleague, a family member) we should think for a moment and ask ourselves some questions. This includes identifying our personality, awakening our spiritual mansion, learning to love ourselves as well as embracing the change that comes.
Be your true self. Listen to your inner voice, intuition or however you name it. Always think before replying to others. Do not copy/past answers just because it’s easier. Don’t lose your individuality and uniqueness, because you are lazy to think . Only then you will be the shepherd not the sheep. You will be the person who is in charge of the conversation.
It will no doubt trigger confusion, doubt, and misunderstandings, which will force you to make decisions that will affect your life. However you need to trust the process as it is worth taking and you will turn out to be an entirely different person from where you started off. There is more to you than you think.
Let go of your past and focus on what is about to come. Give permission to yourself to go through this journey and allow yourself to be vulnerable. When you open up yourself to all the possibilities this journey will bring, you will realize how rewarding it is at the end.
You will discover the most important element of all: YOURSELF.
